We are seeking an experienced podcast producer/host passionate about the space industry and our mission of accelerating it. As a Podcast Producer, you will be in charge of undertaking the interviews, strategizing, planning, editing and uploading content to social media and other podcasting venues to grow the audience, awareness, and traffic to website generated through podcast channels.

Responsibilities

 

• Research, identify, call, email and schedule guests to join the podcast;

• Come up with the interview subjects, research them, and craft questions for the guests;

• Undertake all podcast interviews;

• Guide guests on talking points throughout the recording;

• Record and produce all podcast episodes;

• Manage each episode's editing, recording and distribution;

• Manage the podcast production schedule and development;

• Upload content to social media platforms and other podcasting venues, and write accompanying blurbs;

• Prep the host and guest before a podcast recording;

• Ensure podcasts meet internal deadlines;

• Monitor each episode's analytics and metrics;

• Analyze what type of content the audience is more engaging with.

Requirements

​

• Previous experience in podcast marketing;

• Solid understanding of the podcast industry;

• Superior written and verbal communication skills, able to talk to and connect with all levels at an organization;

• Having necessary equipment (microphone, camera) is mandatory;

• Solid skillset of video editing software (for example Movavi, or else.);

• Insights into YouTube Channel management and growth strategies;

• The ability to collaborate and work with diverse stakeholders;

• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment;

• A solutions-oriented mindset;

• Enthusiasm for learning and growing;

• Network within the space industry is desirable, but not required;

• Willingness to research and acquire general understanding of the space industry topics.
