The New Role:
Putting rockets into space is no easy task. The logistics involved in these launches is a truly global operation. We’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator who can lead the planning and implementation of our logistics strategy to support all the operations of the Arnhem Space Centre. This role will be the key focal point to ensure everything arrives safely, on time and on budget to support multiple launches and our Phase 2 development.
What you’ll be doing:
Reporting to Head of Procurement and working closely with Site Operations, Construction and Launch Operations, you’ll lead the planning and implementation of our logistics strategy across the business. You will coordinate shipments from domestic and international logistics providers as well as scope, tender and manage these contracts. You will be expediting high value and critical deliveries that are essential to the success of our clients’ launches.
On any given day you could be coordinating safe and efficient launch vehicle shipments from across the globe, managing import and compliance regulations to support our customers, tracking on-site fuel inventory and our next delivery of liquid oxygen.
What we are looking for:
Broad experience across all areas of transport and logistics, including offloading and storage
Experience managing customs and compliance for import, handling and transport of dangerous and restricted (ITAR) goods
International shipping experience – North America, Europe and Asia
Experience with fuels, cryogenic liquids, general freight, and rockets!
Supplier engagement and management
+10 years in logistics for heavy engineering, defence or similar
Remote area experience
You don’t know the phrase “that’s not my job” and are a real “can do “ person. You’re fun and casual but very good at what you do.

Equatorial Launch Australia (ELA) owns and operates the Arnhem Space Centre (ASC), a multi-user commercial spaceport in East Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory, Australia at 12° S. Off the back of our successful campaign with NASA to launch three rockets to space from our site we are developing the site for many more launches to come.

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.
Responsibilities:
Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
Help to formulate product’s strategy and design long-term vision.
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
Work closely with engineering teams and supervise respective projects to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members.
Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.
Requirements:
Proven work experience in product management.
Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
Proven track record of managing diverse teams and communicating with clients.
Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred.
