We are seeking an experienced B2B business development/sales professional passionate about our mission of accelerating the growth of the space industry. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, qualifying, and selling products and services to new and existing customers for our organized annual event. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with key accounts, negotiating contracts, and meeting sales targets. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to build relationships quickly. You should also be driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented. If you have the skills and experience we are looking for, we are eager to hear from you.

Our Business Development Professionals are offered:

  • ​Using, email, phone and social media, you will engage with B2B leads and manage end-to-end sales process;

  • Analyze client or customer feedback to improve the sales processes/systems, products, and services;

  • Assist in creating sales proposals for new and existing clients;

  • Identify, source, and connect with new stakeholders and maintain relationships with current ones;

  • Maintain a solid understanding of competitors, open source ecosystem, and industry trends;

  • Conduct market research to develop new strategies;

  • Be comfortable making decisions and working as an autonomous member of a collaborative team;

  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets;

  • Keep accurate records of all sales activities in CRM software and provide timely reports to management;

  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events on behalf of the company (when required);

  • Report weekly sales and marketing efforts and objectives to leadership;

  • Located in the United States or United Kingdom;

  • Fluency in English Language is a must; Additional language knowledge is desirable;

  • Maintain a positive attitude in the face of criticism, rejection, or failure;

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field;

  • 3-5 years of proven B2B business development or sales experience;

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, able to talk to and connect with all levels at an organization;

  • Strong negotiation skills and thorough understanding of the sales process from start to finish;

  • Experience with CRM software;

  • Proven history of following through with goals and commitments;

  • Quick learner, able to take initiative, excellent at problem solving;

  • Insatiable sense of curiosity, always questioning and digging deeper for answers;

  • Able to think strategically and tactically.

  • Work from home (until in-person work becomes necessary).
